Anupam is a filmmaker, speaker, and author with a bachelor degree in Films & Theatre, as well as a postgraduate thesis on Indian cinema from the University of NSW. Named as one of the fifty most powerful & influential Australian film professionals by Encore magazine and nominated as the Australia Day ambassador seven years in a row. As the founder of Film & Casting Temple, he leads a team of film professionals that have worked on over 264 projects, including feature films, television serials, music videos, television commercials, and film festivals, between Australia, India, Denmark, USA, and China. Among Anupam's most acclaimed films is 'unINDIAN', starring Brett Lee and Tannishtha Chatterjee. After which he directed an award winning feature length factual -The Run. Anupam is currently in pre-production for his thriller feature film in Victoria titled ‘Honour’.

Claire Haywood

Claire is an award-winning writer, director and producer who works on projects for her company Wonderland Productions as well as for independent production companies. She has produced a number of television series for local and international broadcasters and streamers.

For Wonderland Productions she recently wrote, directed and edited the 30 minute documentary 'Freeing the Song' for the ABC Compass program. She co-wrote and produced the feature documentary 'The Pink House', winner of Best Australia Documentary at the Sydney Film Festival, 2017. She wrote and directed the 4 part 'Taxi School' (SBS 2009), the documentary, 'Kulka' about Indigenous leader Gordon Briscoe (NITV 2010) and co-wrote and directed the award-winning comedy web series 'Chan & Dee's Drink Tank'. (2021).

Series Producing credits for other production companies include 'Outback Car Hunters' (Discovery Channel), 'Con Girl' (Paramount+), 'Crash Test Mummies & Daddies' (ABC2), the Logie Award-winning series of 'Kings Cross ER' (1 & 2), 'Territory Cops', 'Gold Coast Cops' & 'Kalgoorlie Cops' (Foxtel). Executive Producing credits include 'Unreal Estate' (Ch 9), 'Storm Season' (Ch 10) and 'Gold Coast Cops' (Ch 10). Claire is passionate about telling character-full stories in new and powerful ways that inspire and entertain. A recipient of the South Coast Writers Centre Bundadon Artist-in-Residence Writers Retreat 2023, she is currently writing her first novel.

Deepti is a content producer based in Sydney. With over a decade of experience in producing screen content she has created award-winning television programs, short films, editorial projects, narrative films, animations, illustrations, games and online digital experiences in Asia and Australia. Most recently she is has co-produced 'The Run' - a documentary about the test of human spirit featuring Pat Farmer.

Her core skills are in consulting, producing story driven integrated content and driving brand propositions through social media. She was the social media manager for the first film produced by the Australia-India Film Fund - 'unINDIAN' starring Brett Lee and Tannishtha Chaterjee.

Karin Steininger, a highly creative multi-award-winning documentary and drama documentary editor, has gifted 'Bollywood Downunder' with her editing talent. Recognised for her creative storytelling craft as an editor, Karin has worked as an editor on the American Academy Award (Oscar) winning feature documentary “Anne Frank Remembered” and has accumulated a plethora of film awards for her empowering work including an International Emmy and an Australian Walkley. Karin’s strong storytelling skills and years of experience for crafting films with a rich visual aesthetic has led her to a diverse portfolio of global credits from international networks such as Discovery and the History Channel in the US, the BBC and C4 in The UK, and the ABC and SBS in Australia.

Producer Jannine Barnes established Happening Films in 2000 and has worked in the Australian Film Industry for over 15 years in various guises including production manager and production accountant on many well known Australian feature films and broadcast documentaries. She has always had the ambition and passion for feature film and DOWNRIVER is the debut film for both her and her production company HAPPENING FILMS. Jannine has previously produced 15 short films including the Screen Australia Springboard short film The Wilding which premiered in 2012 at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Hot Shots funded Deep Storage which won the Best Short Film Award at Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival in May.

A classically trained pianist, he has scored more than 50 films including features and documentaries, many of them highly acclaimed and awarded internationally, co-composed over 26 hours of television drama, and co-composed over 43 hours of children’s television across 4 series.

The musical duo collaborated with South African singer Loyiso Bala and Kenyan singer and songwriter Eric Wainaina to record the anthem for 2010 FIFA World Cup. Ryan Gaskett is an independant filmmaker, based in Melbourne, Australia. He is the director of Ava Grace Productions, a production company that specializes in Documentary, Music Videos & Cinematic Promotional Videos. After studying for his Film & Televison Production degree at JMC Academy, Ryan started his company in 2012, going on to produce works for music artists such as Gotye, The Basics, Cog, and promotional videos for Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, and brands such as Chrystler, Infiniti, Zagami, AFL, Stihl and more. Ryan produced and directed a music show called 'The Songroom', which won and Antenna Award for Best Music Program in 2019. Janine received her law degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York. She practiced in the areas of securities, mergers / acquisitions and intellectual property for 6 years at the New York and Tokyo offices of Cleary Gottlieb, a leading international law firm. Thereafter, she worked at the New York offices of Showtime Networks, where she managed television distribution contracts and advised on advertising, antitrust, copyright and trademark law.

In 1998, she moved to Australia and worked at the Film Finance Corporation (predecessor to Screen Australia) in Sydney as Legal Manager advising on the company’s investments in feature films and television drama until 2006. She subsequently joined an entertainment boutique helmed by Nina Stevenson. Since 2008 she has operated a sole practice, JP Media Law + Consulting, where she represents creators, financiers and producers of media projects and advises on all aspects of contract and copyright law, financing and distribution.

Janine acted as Executive Producer on several feature films, including 'Road Train', 'The Reef', and 'Rip Tide' with several more in development. She is qualified to practice in Australia and the United States.
